The named upgrade list at Hertz (Atlas, GV70/80, CX-90 above Preferred, Palisade 2026, V60 Cross Country, Sorento/Santa Fe above base, Mercedes C/GLA/GLB/GLE) polled daily, a broad list every two days, and a very discounted, any trim lane that shows a car only at 10% or more below prediction. Volvo XC60: Plus only, 2024–25, from Byers (certified), CarMax, Hertz and Cars.com within 300 mi. Mazda CX-70: 3.3 turbo, Premium or better, from Hertz and Byers Mazda, plus the CX-70 on Cars.com within 300 mi: Premium and Premium Plus, Turbo and Turbo S, Preferred dropped. Some dealers list only an abbreviation ("PR", "PF") that cannot be read; those rows stay, marked trim?, so open the listing before trusting them. Cars.com rows carry no colour or history and "landed" there is the asking price alone. A brown interior chip marks the interiors you like; "light brown" marks the blond/beige ones you don't. Aspirational, not gated: open-market listings from Cars.com, 2022 or newer, $47,000 or less, ranked within each model against a curve fitted on that model's listings under the same cap. Station wagons only (the A4 allroad within 300 mi; the rest nationwide). Nothing here has a history report and nothing here alerts — Cars.com blocks its detail pages, so colour and accident history are unknown for every row; a standout price here is as likely to be a bad history as a bargain.
